Christopher Musgrave, Member of Parliament for Carlisle, was buried in the north transept on 16th September 1718 but he has no monument or readable gravestone.

Soldier
Thomas Hesilrige was buried in the south ambulatory on 30th October 1651 but his body, with other followers of Oliver Cromwell, was disinterred.
